Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients presenting with cardiovascular concerns, utilizing diagnostic tools to evaluate heart health.
• Design personalized care plans based on patient evaluations, medical histories, and current health conditions, ensuring alignment with best practices in cardiology.
• Manage follow-up care, including scheduling periodic check-ups to monitor patients with chronic cardiovascular conditions like hypertension, heart failure, and arrhythmias.
• Prescribe necessary medications and therapies, adhering strictly to regulatory guidelines and protocols, and maintain compliance with all medical documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a unified approach in patient management, leveraging the insights and expertise of various professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Nurse Practitioner at our facility, you will primarily be working with young patients in a school setting, including children and adolescents who may present with cardiology-related issues. Your role will not only include clinical assessments but also educational initiatives to promote heart health awareness within the student community and their families. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution, with a focus on Family or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner programs preferred.
• Current and valid Nurse Practitioner license to practice in the state of New York.
• Minimum of two years of experience working in cardiology or a related healthcare field, with a clear understanding of cardiovascular pathophysiology.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster relationships with patients and colleagues alike.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive yearly salary range of USD 150,000 to 160,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
