About the Role
The Company is seeking a Vice President of Sales for Public Safety Solutions to spearhead the national expansion of its safety platform. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, and market expansion, and leading a team of sales professionals. This role demands a seasoned leader with a proven track record in enterprise SaaS, public sector technology, security technology, or public safety technology, particularly in government and law enforcement environments. The VP of Sales will be tasked with owning the full sales cycle, from bookings to renewals, and will be expected to build and execute multi-year growth strategies. Essential duties include defining and executing the sales strategy, maintaining a disciplined sales methodology, and fostering strong customer relationships with public safety leaders. Applicants must have a minimum of 15 years of sales leadership experience, with at least 7 years in a role with significant revenue accountability. The role requires a leader with strong forecasting discipline, executive presence, and a genuine passion for the public safety mission. Experience in the public safety industry, knowledge of government procurement and funding cycles, and familiarity with AI-enabled, multi-product platform selling are preferred. The VP of Sales will also be responsible for talent development, cross-functional business leadership, and championing the adoption of AI-enabled tools within the sales organization. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, capable of translating emerging technologies into customer value, and preparing the team for the next generation of the safety platform.
