Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments, diagnose mental health conditions when necessary, and continuously evaluate patient progress through appropriate clinical tools.

• Create and implement individualized treatment plans that account for the cultural diversity and unique needs of patients, ensuring that plans are regularly updated based on patient feedback and progress.

• Utilize the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and other clinical resources to inform care decisions and enhance patient outcomes.

• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation following regulatory requirements and utilize technology effectively for record-keeping.

• Develop strong therapeutic relationships with patients, collaborating closely with them and their families to achieve desired therapeutic outcomes.

• Facilitate referrals and serve as a liaison between patients and various treatment providers, thus ensuring continuity of care.

• Engage in supervisory and mentoring responsibilities for interns and junior staff, contributing to their professional development through peer reviews and collaborative workshops.

• Participate actively in team meetings to share insights and strategies for improving patient care, advocating for best practices in mental health treatment.

The ideal candidate will focus primarily on individuals and families navigating the challenges of a cancer diagnosis. This role is critical in assisting patients as they process emotional distress, providing them with coping strategies and therapeutic interventions tailored to their unique circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• A current State License as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Florida.

• Experience in delivering therapy in an outpatient setting, preferably with oncology patients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
