Anesthesia Technician

Anesthesia AideWe are looking for a hardworking and motivated Anesthesia Aide to join our Operating Room team!This position will work on the East Bank campus in Minneapolis which serves an all adult patient population.Areas Of Specialization Include:Solid organ transplantBlood and marrow transplantationHeart diseaseCancerThis position is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours biweekly), working evenings Monday through Friday, 2:30pm-11:pm, with occasional off shift and weekends.Facilitates OR room turnover for anesthesia and operating roomsPerforms cleanup of ORsReadies OR for next patientProperly cares for equipment and takes action for preventative maintenanceProcures equipmentTransports specimens and blood productsMaintains inventory controlOrders and tracks suppliesMonitors arrivals of back ordersReturns incorrect or damaged ordersRestocks department with suppliesMakes rounds to keep inventory in stockRequired Qualifications:Basic Life Support for Healthcare providersPreferred Qualifications:Prefer one year experience working in the health or patient care related field including six month experience working in an operating roomFairview offers a generous benefits package, including but not limited to medical, dental, vision, PTO/vacation and Safe and Sick Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement and more!
