Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments through virtual consultations, gathering comprehensive client histories and documenting evaluations accurately in our electronic health records.

• Create personalized intervention and recovery plans tailored to the specific needs of individuals, couples, families, and groups based on detailed mental health evaluations.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques to encourage dialogue and promote emotional healing.

• Regularly monitor and document client progress throughout the treatment journey, adjusting plans as needed to optimize recovery outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to develop cohesive treatment approaches.

• Track and manage referrals as necessary, ensuring clients receive comprehensive care and access to additional services.

• Assist family members and caregivers in navigating mental health challenges and developing supportive strategies.

Your role will encompass a diverse range of clients experiencing varying mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and compassionately.

• Demonstrated interpersonal skills, fostering trust and rapport with clients and their families.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience as a mental health counselor, particularly in a telehealth setting.

• Familiarity with electronic health record platforms, with a preference for experience using AVATAR or similar systems.

• Understanding of best practices in mental health counseling as specified by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

• Knowledge of the effects of psychotropic medications and the management of co-occurring disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
