Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to engage with patients through a telehealth platform, which provides flexibility and convenience for both therapists and clients. Our operational hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility in scheduling to accommodate patient needs. By leveraging technology, you will be able to conduct assessments, deliver therapy, and connect with colleagues seamlessly, fostering a supportive virtual community.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to understand each patient’s unique challenges and strengths, informing the development of tailored treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to facilitate positive change in individuals, couples, and families.

• Facilitate psychoeducational sessions and support groups, addressing common mental health issues such as stress management and coping strategies, helping patients build community and resilience.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals within our clinic to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care, enhancing outcomes and providing holistic support.

• Provide crisis intervention services and emotional support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating clinical competence and compassion.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health concerns, treatment options, and resources available in the community to empower them to take an active role in their care.

• Document all patient interactions accurately and confidentially, adhering to established legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to stay informed and continually refine therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will serve a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. Our patients come from varied backgrounds, and this role requires cultural sensitivity and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to meet individual needs effectively.

Qualifications\n

• Masters or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as either a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic approaches aimed at fostering behavioral change.

• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive mental health assessments, designing effective and individualized treatment plans.

• Experience in delivering both individual and group therapy, showcasing adaptability to work with diverse populations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with sound clinical judgment and ethical standards.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications to document and track patient progress.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
