Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients to determine the extent and impact of their mood disorder symptoms, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

  • Work in partnership with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that accommodate their specific needs, preferences, and treatment goals.

  • Utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective interventions designed to improve mental health outcomes.

  • Educationally engage clients and their families about mood disorders, available resources, effective treatment options, and essential self-care practices.

  • Regularly evaluate and document clients' progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.

  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, fostering a holistic approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting adults and adolescents who experience a range of mood disorders, offering them a safe space to explore their thoughts and emotions. Your therapeutic interventions will aim to foster resilience, coping strategies, and improved mental health, ultimately contributing to a healthier community.

Qualifications\n

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.

  • Valid licensure in California as a LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or licensed psychologist.
  • \n
  • Proven understanding of evidence-based practices in mood disorder treatment, including CBT and DBT methodologies.

  • Knowledge of psychopharmacology and effective collaboration with psychiatrists and medical professionals is required.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 105,000 , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
