Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to determine the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms exhibited by clients, utilizing both standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews.

• Develop customized treatment plans that reflect each client's unique challenges, goals, and preferences, ensuring active collaboration with clients throughout the planning process.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), adjusting techniques according to clients' evolving needs.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment pathways, and effective self-care strategies aimed at promoting wellness and resilience.

• Monitor client progress through regular follow-up sessions, documenting treatment adjustments and overall improvements in mental health.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses physical, emotional, and social factors impacting patients' mental health.

• Stay informed on current research and best practices in mental health treatment, actively seeking professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment protocols in compliance with legal and ethical standards for mental health care.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to discuss client progress, share insights, and remain aligned with agency goals and quality standards.

• Act as an advocate for clients, working to reduce the stigma surrounding mood disorders and ensuring they receive the support they need to manage their mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mental Health Therapist at Stride Health Care Inc., you will primarily work with individuals battling mood disorders including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety disorders. Our clientele is diverse, representing various ages, backgrounds, and experiences. Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.

• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities specifically targeted towards mood disorders, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• In-depth knowledge of psychopharmacology and a proven ability to engage collaboratively with psychiatrists and primary care providers.
