Account Executive Large Enterprise - DACH

Responsibilities Go to market as an expert on both the Workforce and Customer Identity Cloud offerings. Establish a vision and plan for the accounts assigned in your territory using a tiering approach. Build thorough account plans detailing customer strategy, financials, pains, objectives and stakeholders. Proactively drive your own top‑of‑funnel activity through Inmails, events, networking and other creative avenues to ensure enough pipeline to hit your quota. Utilize Sales Development (SDRs & BDRs), Marketing and the Partner ecosystem to find and win new logo opportunities. Leverage upsell and cross‑sell opportunities within the existing install base to grow customer success and revenue. Adopt a strong value‑based sales approach, consistently presenting a compelling point of view to customers. Develop trusted, long‑term advisory partnerships with executives in your accounts, supporting them in meeting strategic goals. Follow a MEDDPICC sales methodology to navigate complexity and stay ahead of obstacles to deal closing. Build mutual action plans with customers to create shared accountability. Partner with cross‑functional teams (Sales Development, Channel & Alliances, Marketing, Pre‑Sales, Solutions Architects, Legal, Deal Desk, etc.) to ensure success. Leverage the Business Value team to demonstrate ROI and communicate the long‑term impact of Okta solutions. Qualifications Expert level experience selling Software as a Service (SaaS) cloud technology into enterprise organizations with 4,000+ employees. Proven ability to self‑source opportunities through various methods with a drive to win and grow new logos. Experience navigating long, complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders both within the customer organization and internally. Typical deal sizes ranging from $100,000 to $1,000,000+ ARR. Significant experience selling to technical audiences (CIO, CISO, CTO) and commercial personas (Product, Marketing, HR, Operations, etc.). Fluency in German and English.
