Life Carriage Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and culturally competent Licensed Mental Health Counselor for a full-time remote position. Work Environment\n

This position is remote, which allows for flexibility in your work environment while still being an integral part of a passionate team. Work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some flexibility required to meet the varying needs of our patients. Remote work involves utilizing various technologies effectively to maintain consistent communication with teammates, clients, and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments that are sensitive to each patient's unique cultural background and experiences.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans incorporating evidence-based interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness practices.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health concerns and fostering resilience.
\n
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and fellow mental health professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services, offering immediate care and support during mental health emergencies.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources.
\n
• Maintain precise and confidential client records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in team meetings and case conferences to ensure all treatment strategies are aligned with best practices and the needs of our community.

• Stay updated on the latest research and cultural competency training to enhance therapeutic practices continually.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Must hold a valid license as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.

• Demonstrated understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based intervention strategies.

• Proficient in delivering individual and group therapy through culturally responsive methods.

• Strong crisis intervention skills with the ability to maintain composure in challenging situations.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, with a strong track record of building rapport with diverse populations.

• Comfortable using electronic health record (EHR) systems and other digital communication tools.

• Commitment to ethical practice and maintaining professional boundaries while working with clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
