Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Metrapolis Behavioral Center, your typical responsibilities will include:

• Assessing the counseling needs of your clients, utilizing comprehensive evaluation techniques.

• Conducting substance abuse diagnoses in accordance with the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual) criteria.
\n
• Utilizing ASAM (American Society of Addiction Medicine) criteria to determine the most appropriate level of care for your clients.
\n
• Preparing detailed treatment plans targeting substance abuse and related behavioral health issues.
\n
• Developing and implementing discharge and continuum of care plans to facilitate a successful transition for clients.
\n
• Documenting all assessment data, counseling sessions, and follow-up services in the client’s clinical records to maintain accurate and timely records of care.

• Managing a caseload that includes ongoing treatment planning, case management, and regular updates via utilization reviews.
\n
• Coordinating support services with family members, referral sources, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

• Facilitating interventions for clients facing crisis situations and maintaining a therapeutic environment for recovery.

Qualifications\n
