Work Environment

The work setting at Mobility Works is an onsite rehabilitation facility located in the heart of Sanford, Florida. You will be part of a cohesive team dedicated to optimizing patient outcomes in a professional yet warm atmosphere. Our flexible schedule fosters a healthy work-life balance, allowing you to provide exceptional patient care without sacrificing your personal time. You will typically work Monday through Friday, with a total commitment of 40 hours weekly.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality, and compassionate physical therapy services in both acute care and outpatient settings.

• Implement individualized treatment programs for patients as per the treatment plans developed collaboratively with the rehabilitation team.

• Conduct thorough evaluations, including the collection of pertinent patient history and performance of specialized assessments to guide treatment recommendations.

• Completing timely and accurate documentation of all patient care activities, including detailed initial evaluations, daily encounter notes, interim progress summaries, and discharge plans that establish treatment goals and progress.

• Engage in appropriate discharge planning and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care for patients upon their release from therapy.

• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and complete all required clinical training and certifications in a timely manner.

• Communicate openly and respectfully with coworkers, patients, and their families, fostering a collaborative environment conducive to patient success.

• Participate in facility meetings and contribute to the ongoing discussion of best practices and team-oriented care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse array of patients, focusing on varying orthopedic conditions. Our patient population includes individuals recovering from surgeries, accidents, and chronic pain management, all requiring tailored therapeutic interventions. Your role will be crucial in assessing their unique needs, guiding their rehabilitation journey, and helping them achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current physical therapy license to practice in the state of Florida.

• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation preferred.

• Strong background in evidence-based approaches to physical therapy, including manual therapy techniques and exercise prescription.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and their families.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an attractive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
