The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Valiant Mind Counseling Center, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, assessments, and ongoing care for clients navigating various emotional and psychological challenges.
\n
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessment and diagnosis, ensuring that each patient receives tailored support aligned with their specific needs.
\n
• Collaborating closely with interdisciplinary teams and community resources to coordinate care and support discharge planning for clients as necessary.
\n
• Leading engaging group therapy sessions aimed at promoting emotional well-being and skill development among clients with shared experiences.
\n
• Completing all necessary documentation accurately and timely, including statistical reports and treatment progress notes, to maintain compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
\n
• Participating actively in clinical supervision sessions to discuss cases, gain insights, and enhance your therapeutic skills and practices.

• Engaging in case conferences and treatment planning discussions for patients, offering your expertise to enhance their treatment outcomes.

• Potentially assisting in conducting psychological assessments and mentoring social work interns or student volunteers as assigned.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will focus on a diverse clientele, including adults and adolescents facing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other socio-emotional issues. By providing compassionate, evidence-based care through the telehealth model, you will promote mental wellness and recovery in a safe and confidential environment, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each patient.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field.

• A valid and active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to effectively assess clients and adapt treatment plans as necessary.

Preferred Experience\n
