Accounting ManagerThe company are a global software, cyber-security, new media and internet business that are growing quickly through commercial sales and acquisition. They are looking for an Accounting Manager (newly created role) to help manage the increasing workload and help make the accounting team more efficient. The successful applicant MUST have prior managerial experience and a mixture of both public and private accounting.Job DescriptionThe successful Accounting Manager will:Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support financial planning.Coordinate with external auditors and ensure timely completion of audits.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decisions.Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.Process improvement across the finance and accounting teamOversee (alongside the Billing Manager) the complex billing process for the businessMPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
