Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide therapeutic services, including psychotherapy and counseling to individuals, groups, couples, and families, tailored to their unique challenges.

• Conduct thorough assessments by interviewing clients to gather comprehensive social, personal, environmental, and health information crucial for effective treatment planning.

• Evaluate and treat a range of behavioral health issues, ensuring interventions align with best practices and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Develop, implement, and coordinate programs that specifically address the social and emotional needs of clients within a school context.

• Facilitate cognitive, affective, and behavioral health improvements, addressing crisis situations as they arise, and provide referrals to appropriate community resources.

• Establish strong, respectful relationships with clients built on trust and acceptance, which are foundational for effective therapy.

• Monitor and evaluate treatment effectiveness, adjusting plans as needed based on individual progress.

• Document all findings and treatment plans in accordance with established protocols, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.

• Maintain an organized caseload, ensuring that all documentation is current and reflective of the services provided.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support the evolving needs of clients and the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily supports students in educational settings, encompassing diverse age groups and backgrounds. You will directly address various challenges, including but not limited to academic stress, anxiety, depression, family issues, grief, and trauma. By working closely with parents, teachers, and school administrators, you will create a collaborative approach to mental health support that prioritizes students' well-being and success.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.

• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Pennsylvania.

• A minimum of four years of relevant experience in social work or mental health, with a focus on behavioral health treatment.

• Strong background in counseling related to behavioral mental health issues, including but not limited to mood disorders, substance abuse, family dynamics, and grief counseling.
