Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to evaluate each student's mental health needs, considering their strengths and challenges.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with students, families, and educational staff, outlining clear goals and therapeutic interventions.

• Engage in crisis intervention, risk assessments, and develop safety plans for students who may require immediate support.

• Document client progress and treatment outcomes meticulously, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and legal requirements.

• Facilitate psychoeducation and support groups to enhance students' coping strategies and skills.

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team, including school psychologists and special education staff, to ensure comprehensive care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on students ranging from preschool to high school, who may be experiencing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. You will work in conjunction with families to create a supportive environment that addresses emotional, social, and academic concerns.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.

• Valid LCSW license in the state of Florida.

• At least two years of direct experience in a mental health or outpatient setting, preferably working with children and adolescents.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with students, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
