As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $18.30 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur07:30 AM - 06:00 PMFri07:30 AM - 06:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a behavioral health care setting. Respond to incidents, behavioral health emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, assisting with visitor direction and maintaining a professional presence in patient care areas. Document incidents, observations, patrol activity, and shift information accurately; communicate relevant information to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management. Minimum Requirements: At least 6 months of security-related experience is required. A guard card or license is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
