Channel Marketing Manager

Role Description

• Own the commercial channel marketing strategy for the US.
• Work alongside the lead for the commercial channel area who brings deep commercial expertise.
• Accountable for revenue growth, margin performance, and program ROI.

This role requires real experience in industrial and/or automotive channels.

• Experience in MRO, industrial distribution, hardware, auto parts, fluid management, or adjacent B2B channels is preferred.
• Bonus points for adapting your approach across different commercial routes to market.

You’ll work closely with the sales side, earning their respect and matching their energy.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in channel marketing or distributor marketing with substantive experience in industrial and/or automotive channels.
• Understanding of how product moves through a B2B distribution channel.
• Experience influencing sales teams, brand managers, and senior leadership.
• Comfortable making plans with incomplete information and adjusting when necessary.
• Strong financial acumen; able to build a business case and hold a P&L conversation.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; MBA welcomed.

Requirements

• Building and owning the US commercial channel marketing strategy.
• Developing WD-40’s approach to mid-market commercial accounts.
• Bridging sell-in and pull-through.
• Leading SKU assortment, packaging requirements, and product lineup decisions.
• Creating account-specific activation plans in coordination with brand, digital, and sales.
• Representing WD-40 at trade shows, distributor meetings, and sales team calls.
• Building internal buy-in for commercial fluency.
• Leading partnership and agency management for channel programs.
