Work Environment

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Body Flow, you will work primarily in the homes of our patients, providing personalized therapy in a comfortable and familiar environment. This onsite approach allows us to deliver tailored therapy sessions that significantly enhance patient engagement and healing. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations and assessments of each patient's condition, needs, and rehabilitation goals.
• Guide patients through a variety of therapeutic exercises and interventions, incorporating manual techniques, modalities, and exercises specifically designed to improve mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Continuously monitor patient progress, documenting changes and communicating effectively with the supervising physical therapist regarding any observations and updates on patient status.
• Utilize assistive devices, such as walkers and braces, to support patients in achieving mobility goals, ensuring safe and effective use during therapy sessions.
• Educate patients and their families on post-therapy rehabilitation techniques that can be practiced at home, enhancing recovery outside of scheduled sessions.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to training and mentoring initiatives for new or less experienced staff members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients are primarily individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. We serve a diverse population, including both active adults and seniors seeking to regain mobility and independence. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Must possess a valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license.
• Demonstrated ability to perform hands-on therapy services effectively while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
• Exceptional communication skills to foster strong relationships with patients and their families, as well as to collaborate effectively with clinical staff.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic physical therapy, with a proven track record of managing diverse caseloads.
• Experience in home care settings is highly desirable but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 50,000 to $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
