Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to accurately evaluate the needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that consider developmental stages, cultural factors, and family dynamics.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy and play therapy to address a variety of mental health issues.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions that empower parents and caregivers to create emotionally supportive environments for their children.

• Collaborate closely with child psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and cohesive care.

• Provide emergency crisis intervention and support during critical mental health situations.

• Educate patients and families about various mental health conditions, treatment alternatives, and available community resources.

• Maintain thorough, confidential documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Regularly participate in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development activities.

• Stay up-to-date with current research, best practices, and innovations in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will primarily serve children and adolescents, ages 5-18, who are experiencing a range of mental health disorders, including anxiety disorders, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and behavioral issues. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in building trust and rapport with young clients, adapting therapeutic techniques to their developmental level, and ensuring that both they and their families feel supported throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
\n
• In-depth understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and effective treatment methodologies.
\n
• Demonstrated experience providing therapy to children, adolescents, and their families.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a compassionate approach tailored for young individuals.

• The ability to engage children and adolescents effectively and build solid therapeutic relationships.

• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and engaging in telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of experience in a clinical setting providing mental health therapy to children or adolescents.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, eligible candidates may receive a sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
