Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical examinations and gather comprehensive patient histories to inform clinical decisions.
• Utilize your diagnostic skills to identify and treat common acute illnesses and manage chronic conditions effectively.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including X-rays and laboratory work, to support clinical decisions.
• Devise and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the latest clinical guidelines.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform therapeutic procedures, ensuring patients are informed and comfortable throughout.
• Document patient interactions accurately using ICD-9 coding within our electronic health records system, ensuring compliance and continuity of care.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to optimize each patient’s care plan and improve health outcomes.
• Provide educational resources and counseling to patients regarding their conditions, preventative care, and necessary lifestyle adjustments.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will serve a diverse patient population, including individuals seeking immediate care for acute issues, children with common illnesses, and adult patients managing chronic healthcare conditions. Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution is required.
• Must possess valid Nurse Practitioner licensure and certification to practice in New York.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in urgent care, family practice, or related clinical setting is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in pediatrics, geriatric care, and memory care is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with advanced medical procedures such as botulinum toxin treatments and other minimally invasive procedures would be an asset.
• Prior experience utilizing electronic health records, specifically Cerner, to maintain accurate patient data records.

Compensation and Benefits
