Key Responsibilities\n

• Coordinate with inter-agency program providers to facilitate comprehensive care for clients, ensuring that all interventions are integrated effectively.

• Prepare detailed discharge summaries that reflect clients' progress and key therapeutic details.
\n
• Provide personalized therapy sessions to clients on your caseload, utilizing individual, family, or group modalities based on client needs.
\n
• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to inform the development of person-centered treatment plans tailored to address each individual's concerns and goals.
\n
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation within 48 hours of service delivery, ensuring compliance with best-practice standards and organizational policies.
\n
• Offer supervision and emergency support during after-hours on-call periods as needed, ensuring that clients receive timely assistance.
\n
• Participate in all scheduled programmatic meetings, including clinical supervision and staff collaboration, to promote professional development and team cohesion.
\n
• Execute any additional clinical tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the counseling team.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based psychotherapy techniques to support clients presenting with a range of concerns, such as substance abuse, depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse population of clients, encompassing adults and adolescents who face various mental health challenges. Your role will involve engaging effectively with clients from different backgrounds, adapting your therapeutic approach to meet their unique needs, and helping them navigate through life’s complexities.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid mental health counseling license in the District of Columbia (LPC, LMFT, LICSW).

• A Master's Degree in a human services-related field such as psychology, counseling, social work, or a similar discipline.

• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, and a willingness to learn new tools that enhance client documentation and communication.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting is preferred but not required.

• Experience with evidence-based therapeutic practices and familiarity with a variety of client presentations.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
