Woodfield Boca Raton is seeking an experienced Sous Chef for our state‑of‑the‑art dining outlets. Our resort offers five dining venues, each with a varied and unique dining experience to suit our members ranging from casual poolside bites to elaborate buffets and elegant dinners. We are seeking a Culinary Professional who possesses strong culinary and managerial skills within a luxury high‑volume resort or high‑end restaurant environment. Must be creative, detail‑oriented and have a strong passion for culinary arts. Prior experience as an alacarte Chef in a high volume, high quality environment preferred. Must have strong leadership, communication and organizational skills, and culinary degree preferred. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Include The Following Prepares or directly supervises the daily preparation of all food items. Responsible for the food production in all outlets of the club. Consistently maintains standards of quality, cost, eye appeal and flavor of foods. Creates menu specification with the Executive Chef. Tastes all food items prepared prior to serving. Creates “Specials”. Creates new items for buffet and alacarte. Plans weekly production lists. Ensures all employees are following their schedules. Communicates with the Chef on any club member feedback. Ensures that all cooks are trained and understand our standards when working any type of station. Ensures all food products received are of the highest quality. Ensures that all employees follow checklists for their areas. Ensures that all employees are following the highest sanitation standards. Ensure that the receiving department is accepting only the highest quality.
