Key Responsibilities\n

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive mental health evaluations to assess client needs and develop personalized treatment plans.

• Providing crisis intervention and ongoing therapeutic support tailored to individual client circumstances.

• Facilitating group therapy sessions that promote healing and self-discovery among participants.

• Coordinating with the Oregon Health Authority to manage enrollment and discharge processes for clients in problem gambling treatment programs.

• Collaborating with community agencies such as schools, police departments, and hospitals for joint case planning and coordination.
\n
• Delivering educational sessions to support staff and community groups focused on behavioral health and addiction prevention.
\n
• Participating actively in professional development opportunities, including training sessions and conferences, to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

• Developing and implementing quality assurance (QA/QI) initiatives to uphold care standards and improve service delivery.

• Completing additional duties as assigned by the administration to support organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily focuses on serving an adult population dealing with a wide range of mental health issues. You will work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, addiction, and trauma-related disorders, helping them navigate their challenges and achieve meaningful recovery. Your efforts will play a critical role in improving the overall health and well-being of our community.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess a Doctor of Psychology (PhD or PsyD), a Master of Social Work, a Master's degree in Professional Counseling, or a Master's in Family Therapy from an accredited institution. Candidates must meet the licensure requirements in the state of Oregon, demonstrating a deep understanding of clinical best practices in mental health therapy.

Preferred Experience\n

We are seeking applicants with a minimum of three years of professional experience in a mental health counseling role, particularly in outpatient settings. Experience with diverse populations and specific knowledge of behavioral health issues relevant to the Klamath Falls community would be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
