Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health needs, developing comprehensive treatment plans tailored to their individual circumstances.

• Deliver individual therapy sessions, selecting appropriate therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), or person-centered approaches to promote client growth and well-being.

• Establish therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and monitor progress to ensure that desired outcomes are being met.

• Utilize teletherapy options to provide virtual sessions, ensuring accessibility for clients with varying needs and preferences.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation according to ethical and legal standards, tracking client progress and treatment effectiveness.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with best practices and emerging trends in mental health treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a mental health counselor at Inside Access, you will work with a diverse population of clients facing a variety of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. The role requires a strong commitment to empathetic, client-centered care, meeting individuals where they are in their therapeutic journey and fostering an environment of trust and safety.

Qualifications\n

• A current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor/Mental Health Service Provider (LPC/MHSP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on building rapport with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental attitude towards clients.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to effectively balance caseload and documentation requirements.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in conducting both in-person and teletherapy sessions.

• Familiarity with various evidence-based therapeutic modalities and their application in a clinical setting.

• Prior experience in a community health setting or private practice is highly desirable.
