This position is primarily remote, providing the flexibility to manage your schedule while ensuring that you can meet clients’ needs effectively. Our outpatient office serves as the primary setting for therapy sessions, accommodating both individual and group sessions when necessary. You will utilize secure, user-friendly technology platforms for virtual sessions, enabling seamless interactions with clients and ensuring confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health status through interviews, questionnaires, and psychological evaluations.

• Create individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic techniques specifically tailored to each client's needs.

• Facilitate regular counseling sessions, employing a variety of strategies to help clients develop coping skills and overcome specific challenges.

• Monitor clients' progress and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary, ensuring that their evolving needs are met throughout the therapeutic process.

• Provide referrals to additional healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or support groups, to enhance the holistic care of clients.

• Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and treatment plans using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with mood disorders, anxiety disorders, substance abuse issues, eating disorders, and family dynamics. Each client's unique background and life experiences will inform your therapeutic approach, allowing you to provide culturally competent and inclusive care. Your expertise in understanding the intersections of mental health and various cultural contexts will be vital in supporting your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid professional license (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Washington.

• At least two years of experience in a mental health counseling role, demonstrating an ability to work with a variety of mental health disorders.

• A comprehensive understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities, crisis intervention, and therapeutic methodologies.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport and trust with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems and various computer applications necessary for documenting client interaction.

Compensation and Benefits\n
