Work Environment

The physical therapist will work onsite at our dynamic outpatient office, where our team collaborates closely to ensure optimal patient care. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed patient assessments to determine physical limitations and develop comprehensive treatment plans aimed at rehabilitation and strengthening.
• Implement individualized therapy sessions utilizing a blend of manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and advanced modalities tailored to each patient's condition.
• Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize recovery while documenting outcomes using electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
• Educate patients on their conditions, effective home exercise programs, and preventive strategies to maintain their health post-rehabilitation.
• Work collaboratively as part of the healthcare team to facilitate communication and share patient progress for better healthcare outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic primarily serves adults recovering from orthopedic interventions, including joint replacements, fractures, and sports-related injuries. The perfect candidate will be adept at treating a varied patient caseload that may also include individuals with neurological and cardiovascular conditions, offering them the comprehensive support they need for regaining function and strength.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current New Jersey Physical Therapy license maintained in good standing.
• A minimum of two years of direct clinical experience, particularly within an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques; experience with EMR systems, preferably WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Additional certifications in specialized modalities such as Dry Needling or Sports Rehabilitation are advantageous.
• Experience working with a diverse patient demographic enhances your application.
• Prior involvement with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation package for this position is competitive, ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually based on experience and qualifications. In addition to a salary aligned with industry standards, our benefits package includes:
