Position Overview

Lincoln Assert Motion Physical Therapy & Wellness is seeking a dedicated and passionate Physical Therapist (PT) to join our outpatient orthopedic practice located in Fairview, New Jersey. As a full-time member of our team, you will play a key role in the rehabilitation journey of our patients, utilizing your expertise to enhance their mobility and overall quality of life. This role entails creating personalized treatment plans aimed at restoring functionality and reducing pain through various therapeutic approaches.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant community of Fairview, New Jersey, our outpatient office is designed to nurture collaboration and teamwork among our healthcare providers. You will work closely with two other physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant (PTA) in a supportive environment that fosters professional growth and development. Our facility is equipped with the latest technology and resources to ensure you have the tools necessary to provide effective and efficient treatment for your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' objectives, functional capabilities, and therapeutic needs.
• Manage an individualized caseload, typically serving one patient per hour to maintain quality care.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing evidence-based treatment techniques tailored to each patient's condition.
• Deliver cost-effective treatments, focusing on improving range of motion, mobility, and functional independence.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, exercise protocols, and therapeutic modalities to enhance recovery.
• Educate patients on home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications to optimize their recovery.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians and specialists, to create an integrated approach to patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring effective communication throughout the process.
• Thoroughly document all patient interactions and treatment sessions in the organization's EMR system, WebPT.
• Motivate and encourage patients throughout their treatment journey to achieve optimal functional outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our outpatient facility primarily serves patients with private medical insurance, ranging from athletes with sports-related injuries to individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries. You will engage with a diverse clientele, tailoring your therapeutic approaches to meet the unique needs of each individual or family. Our focus on non-surgical treatment options aims to empower our patients to regain their independence without the reliance on medication, promoting a healthier lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current, valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• A demonstrated history of a clean professional record, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Exceptional competence in developing and executing patient-specific exercise protocols.
• Proficient in using WebPT EMR Software for patient documentation and record keeping.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Experience with specialized rehabilitation equipment and sports medicine modalities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with patients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
