Work Environment

The ideal candidate will work in a vibrant and fast-paced outpatient office setting, devoted to rehabilitation and recovery. Our facility is equipped with cutting-edge therapy equipment and offers a supportive atmosphere where physical therapists collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, ensuring a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical capabilities, including assessments of movement, strength, and overall functional limitations to formulate accurate diagnoses.
• Individualized Treatment Plans: Create customized, evidence-based physical therapy plans that align with each patient's recovery goals and needs, taking into account their medical history and lifestyle.
• Hands-On Therapy Techniques: Apply various therapeutic modalities including, but not limited to, manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and aquatic therapy, aimed at restoring mobility and reducing pain.
• Patient & Family Education: Provide education to patients and their families about their conditions, proper exercises, and techniques to prevent future injuries, fostering a strong understanding of the treatment process.
• Progress Monitoring & Documentation: Systematically track and document patient progress, adjusting treatment protocols as necessary to optimize recovery, while ensuring compliance with local and federal healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at InCore, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on their lives by aiding in their rehabilitation and helping them regain their independence.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical physical therapy setting, focusing on outpatient care.
• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution; a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Strong foundational knowledge in orthopedic rehabilitation techniques and practices.
• Exemplary communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience

While a minimum of 2 years of experience is required, candidates with a background in sports rehabilitation or advanced orthopedic conditions will be highly regarded. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and evidence-based practice models will also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

InCore Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
