The role requires you to work onsite in our outpatient office in Paramus, New Jersey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough initial evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities, including mobility, strength, and functionality.
• Utilize advanced diagnostic techniques to identify the specific needs of each patient.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at restoring mobility, reducing pain, and promoting independence.
• Apply a variety of treatment methodologies, such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, neuromuscular re-education, and specialty modalities tailored to each patient.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, tailored rehabilitation strategies, and effective home exercise programs to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and case managers to facilitate an integrated approach to patient treatment.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with patients, families, and caregivers to support a seamless rehabilitation experience.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal issues. This role requires compassion and a patient-centered approach, as you will be helping individuals of varying ages and physical conditions through their recovery journey. Understanding the unique goals and challenges faced by each patient will be key to delivering effective therapy.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Strong clinical expertise in orthopedic and sports medicine physical therapy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and patient engagement.
• A genuine passion for helping patients achieve meaningful recovery outcomes.
• Ability to work independently, as well as a valuable contributor to a collaborative healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits
