Work Environment

This full-time role involves working directly with patients in our outpatient office, which is designed to create a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. You will collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals, including orthopedic physicians and physician assistants, to ensure comprehensive patient management. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life rhythm.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with orthopedic conditions, such as sports injuries, chronic pain, and post-surgical cases, to develop effective treatment plans.
• Implement tailored treatment programs utilizing manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and functional training methodologies aimed at restoring mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Engage with patients to educate them on injury prevention strategies, movement mechanics, and the importance of adherence to home exercise programs.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on individual recovery goals, ensuring optimal rehabilitation outcomes.
• Accurately document patient interactions and outcomes using Electronic Medical Records (EMR), maintaining confidentiality and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Stay current with industry best practices and advancements in physical therapy to provide the highest level of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse group of patients, including athletes recovering from sports injuries, individuals dealing with chronic orthopedic conditions, and patients post-surgery. Your compassionate approach to care will make a significant difference in their rehabilitation journeys, helping them achieve their personal health goals.

Qualifications

• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is required.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients and other healthcare professionals.
• A patient-centered approach with a commitment to individualized care.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient orthopedic environments, is preferred.
• Experience with managing a variety of musculoskeletal conditions will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition, our compensation package includes:
