Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for children and adolescents, utilizing structured clinical interviews and standardized assessment tools to evaluate presenting concerns.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that account for individual developmental stages, family dynamics, and culturally relevant factors.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and family systems therapy, to address various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and ADHD.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions with parents and caregivers, providing guidance and education to empower them in supporting their child’s mental health journey.

• Coordinate closely with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary teams to ensure a holistic approach is applied in caring for each young patient.

• Provide crisis intervention support, helping families navigate acute mental health emergencies and collaborating with community resources when necessary.

• Document clinical sessions accurately and maintain electronic health records (EHR) in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development through workshops, seminars, and team consultations to enhance therapeutic skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. This includes working with clients who exhibit symptoms related to anxiety, depression, attention- deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and various behavioral disorders. The role involves creating a safe, non-judgmental space where young individuals can express themselves and engage in the therapeutic process. Your ability to build rapport and foster trust will be essential in support of their mental health journeys.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Georgia.

• Extensive knowledge of child and adolescent mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and evidence-based practices.

• Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic services to young clients and their families.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach that prioritizes the well-being of patients.

• Adeptness with electronic health record systems and ability to efficiently navigate computer applications relevant to clinical documentation.

• Capability to function well within a multidisciplinary team and engage in collaborative decision-making.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
