Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial mental health assessments through teletherapy, taking detailed histories and documenting essential information from the preliminary interviews.

• Evaluate and monitor clients’ emotional and psychological states through ongoing assessments, ensuring accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.

• Create customized treatment plans for a diverse client base, including individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on tailored interventions that promote effective recovery.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, harnessing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques that cater to different dynamics.

• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans based on assessed client progress and evolving needs, maintaining flexibility in therapeutic approaches.

• Collaborate with team members and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care, sharing insights and strategies that support client recovery.

• Follow up with clients who have been admitted to hospitals, coordinating care with psychiatrists and other attending physicians to provide ongoing support.

• Proactively identify and intervene in behaviors that may delay or hinder recovery, employing strategies that engage clients in their healing processes.

• Provide guidance and support to family members and caregivers, empowering them to manage challenges associated with mental health issues.

Qualifications\n

• Education: A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Licensure: A current and valid license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) per state regulations is mandatory.

• Certification: Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
