Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy
• Current and valid Occupational Therapy license for the state of Illinois
• Demonstrated experience working in a school-based environment
• Proficiency in IEP development and documentation
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach
• Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine students’ needs
• Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy interventions aligned with students’ IEPs
• Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other service providers to support student progress
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation of services and student outcomes
• Participate actively in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
• Deliver both direct and consultative services to students with diverse abilities
• Utilize evidence-based practices to address fine motor, sensory, self-care, and functional skills
