Junior Accountant

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their growing finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain hands-on experience in month-end close, reconciliations, financial reporting, and general accounting operations while working alongside experienced finance leaders. Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries. Perform monthly bank and balance sheet account reconciliations. Assist with month-end and year-end close activities. Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions. Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial records. Assist with preparing financial statements and management reports. Support external audits by gathering requested documentation. Analyze financial data and investigate account variances. Maintain fixed asset schedules and depreciation records. Assist with process improvements and ad hoc accounting projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. 1–3 years of accounting experience (internships considered). Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables preferred). Experience with an ERP system such as NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or QuickBooks is a plus. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment. #J-18808-Ljbffr Green Key Resources
