Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist, your role will include:

• Performing thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
• Applying a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions, including exercise, manual therapy, and modalities, to help alleviate pain and enhance mobility.
• Implementing individualized treatment strategies tailored to each patient's therapeutic goals, monitoring their progress, and adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Keeping detailed and accurate records of patient treatments, progress reports, and outcomes for ongoing evaluations and insurance purposes.
• Providing education to patients and their families about treatment plans, rehabilitation processes, and proper use of assistive devices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working with a diverse patient population, including children and adults, each with unique needs ranging from post-surgical rehabilitation to chronic pain management. This role is particularly suited for those who enjoy working closely with patients and their families to empower them through education, support, and hands-on treatment.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in New York.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, which are essential to effectively interact with patients, families, and medical staff.
• Proficient in using electronic health record (EHR) systems to document care and track patient progress.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with advancements in physical therapy practices.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 105,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a robust benefits package that includes:
