Located in Rochester, NY, we operate out of a state-of-the-art 5,000 square-foot sports medicine facility, equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies to deliver exemplary patient care.

Work Environment

Your role will be onsite at our cutting-edge facility, designed to foster a collaborative and supportive atmosphere among healthcare professionals. You will be working closely with a specialized team of two other physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant, to deliver personalized care tailored to the needs of our patients. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Manage patient caseload effectively, ensuring each patient receives dedicated attention—averaging one patient per hour.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, exercise regimens, and functional training to facilitate optimal recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously to track treatment outcomes and adapt care plans as needed.
• Implement wellness programs focused on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide integrated care, positively impacting patient treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients on lifestyle modifications and exercise techniques to promote long-term health benefits.
• Continuously monitor treatment effectiveness and adapt strategies to meet evolving patient needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with private medical insurance, who require rehabilitation services for a variety of orthopedic conditions. As a Physical Therapist, your skills will be crucial in aiding patients recovering from surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. You will engage with diverse clientele, ensuring individualized care plans that respect their unique circumstances and goals for recovery.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• Current and valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York.
• Proven track record of maintaining a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy and exercise-based interventions.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient settings, with particular emphasis on rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries.
• Capability in designing specific exercise programs tailored to individual patient needs.
• Experience in implementing innovative treatment modalities that enhance patient engagement and recovery.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
