Work Environment

This position will be primarily onsite, providing a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and needs, ensuring personalized care plans.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing focused attention to each patient's progress.
• Deliver evidence-based interventions that enhance patients' mobility and functional abilities.
• Implement effective treatment plans utilizing diverse therapeutic techniques and exercises tailored to each patient's requirements.
• Advocate for non-pharmacological solutions and utilize modalities for pain relief, enhancing recovery times and functionalities.
• Create and adapt fitness and wellness programs that focus on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and engage patients throughout their rehabilitation process to inspire confidence and maximize their physical potential.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and other therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor and document treatment effects and progress, maintaining open lines of communication with patients and team members.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary patient demographic consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance, many of whom seek recovery from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. You will encounter a diverse range of cases, enabling you to apply your skills extensively while directly contributing to improved patient health outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree is required.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in New York State, with no disciplinary actions or board actions against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills to facilitate various treatment strategies.
• Experience in developing effective exercise and rehabilitation routines tailored to individual patient needs.
• Proficiency in using electronic medical records (EMR) software, including WebPT, to enhance documentation and patient management processes.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with current best practices in the physical therapy field, particularly in orthopedic treatment methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
