Pro Movement Physical Therapy Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Rochester, New York. Team collaboration is encouraged, and as a physical therapist, you will work alongside two experienced therapists and a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA), all committed to excellence in care.

Work Environment

The position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in the vibrant city of Rochester, New York. Our clinic promotes an environment conducive to healing, featuring modern rehabilitation tools and therapeutic technology. The work schedule is set for Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a consistent routine while allowing for a balanced work-life experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify and understand patients' goals, needs, and treatment options.
• Develop specialized care plans that may incorporate a variety of treatment techniques tailored to individual patient requirements.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, providing dedicated attention to each patient's therapeutic journey.
• Deliver hands-on treatment utilizing advanced manual therapy skills to optimize mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Design and implement customized exercise regimens to facilitate rehabilitation, strength, and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluations and effective communication with patients regarding treatment effects.
• Encourage patient motivation throughout their treatment plan, helping them stay engaged with their recovery process.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of services provided and patient response in compliance with regulatory standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient demographic predominantly consists of individuals with private medical insurance seeking effective physical therapy solutions for orthopedic concerns. You will work with diverse cases ranging from sports injuries to post-surgical recovery, emphasizing a preventative approach to physical therapy. Your expertise will make a significant impact on patients' rehabilitation trajectories, helping them regain their independence and functional capacity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a DPT is preferred.
• Active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• No board actions or disciplinary actions have been taken against the license.
• Proven manual therapy skills and proficiency in creating effective exercise programs.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of three years of experience in orthopedic outpatient care is strongly preferred.
• A track record of successful patient outcomes in a similar clinical environment.
• Experience utilizing evidence-based interventions to drive treatment plans.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience.
