The Fore Front Ortho Care Clinic is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our team in Rochester, New York. As a Physical Therapist at our rehabilitation facility, you will work directly with patients to develop tailored treatment plans that promote mobility and functionality.

Our clinic is equipped with a state-of-the-art, 5000 square foot sports medicine facility, which fosters an optimal healing environment. Our team is comprised of skilled professionals, including two physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Together, we emphasize a collaborative approach to patient treatment, ensuring the best outcomes for all our clients.

Work Environment

Our clinic's onsite rehabilitation setting emphasizes hands-on treatment and personalized care. Physical Therapists work in well-equipped therapy rooms and have access to advanced tools and equipment necessary for effective rehabilitation. The clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, creating a structured work environment that promotes work-life balance for our staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients' needs to formulate customized treatment protocols that target their specific goals.
• Manage a caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and comprehensive care during each session.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to create effective rehabilitation strategies aimed at improving range of motion and mobility.
• Implement cost-effective treatment modalities to reduce patients' reliance on medications while promoting non-surgical interventions.
• Design individualized fitness and wellness programs that encourage patients to maintain an active and healthy lifestyle.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their treatment, adapting plans as necessary to ensure optimal progress.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care and improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain thorough documentation of treatment provided, outcomes achieved, and ongoing patient progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on patients with private medical insurance, many of whom are recovering from orthopedic injuries or surgeries. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is mandatory for this position.
• A valid license as a Physical Therapist in New York State is required.
• An impeccable professional record with no disciplinary actions against licensure.
• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques is preferred.
• Strong competency in developing and executing exercise protocols tailored to patient needs.
• Experience with WebPT EMR software is advantageous for efficient documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Prior work experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is preferred, as it will benefit the role's responsibilities and enhance patient trust.
• Proficiency in physical evaluation techniques, rehabilitation strategies, and progress assessments will contribute to a smooth onboarding process.
• Ability to cultivate a supportive and encouraging environment for patients recovering from injury or surgery.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 100,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
