Work Environment

This role is based in our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, where you will encounter a warm and collaborative atmosphere. The center operates onsite, creating an engaging workplace that promotes teamwork among skilled therapists and healthcare professionals. Our standard working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM or 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions to establish tailored treatment plans that address individual goals and needs.
• Provide one-on-one therapy sessions, ensuring a manageable patient load that allows for focused attention and quality care.
• Utilize expertise in orthopedic outpatient care, engaging in hands-on therapy as well as non-invasive treatment techniques.
• Implement cost-effective treatment options aimed at enhancing patients' motion capabilities while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Develop and adapt comprehensive care plans incorporating various therapeutic approaches, including manual therapy and tailored exercise programs.
• Motivate and support patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, tracking progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of patient interactions using EMR software, particularly WebPT, to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Engage in ongoing evaluation of treatment effectiveness and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to promote integrated care solutions.

Qualifications

• Possession of a current and active Physical Therapist license in New York State, ensuring compliance with local regulations and standards.
• Completion of a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) program from an accredited institution.

• Knowledgeable of the latest evidence-based physical therapy practices and techniques, continually pursuing professional development and education.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience in an outpatient rehabilitation setting, particularly with a focus on orthopedic cases.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, especially WebPT, to facilitate documentation and care management.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, which are essential for effective patient engagement and collaboration with colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
