Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Lightfully Family Services, you will work on-site in our spacious outpatient office located in Rochester. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured work-life balance. You will be joining a close-knit team of experienced professionals, including two skilled physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant, fostering a supportive and collaborative work culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient goals and treatment needs, ensuring a personalized approach to care.
• Manage patient caseload efficiently, seeing approximately one patient per hour to provide focused, individualized treatment.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques to deliver evidence-based interventions aimed at improving mobility and restoring function.
• Develop comprehensive care plans that outline specific treatment strategies tailored to each patient's unique circumstances.
• Incorporate fitness and wellness programs into treatment regimens to foster independence and empowerment among patients.
• Document all patient interactions and treatment outcomes diligently, adhering to compliance and quality assurance standards.
• Monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans as necessary, maintaining ongoing communication regarding goals and achievements.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York, with no recorded disciplinary actions.

• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to streamline patient documentation and treatment tracking.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
