Grandcare Physical Therapy Services is seeking a motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our team in Rochester, NY. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient practice in Rochester, New York. The work schedule is structured for weekdays, from Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Grandcare, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Assessing and understanding the goals and needs of each patient to develop personalized treatment plans.
• Managing a dedicated patient load, typically treating one individual per hour to ensure focused attention and care.
• Implementing a variety of therapeutic techniques to treat orthopedic conditions effectively.
• Delivering treatments aimed at improving patients' motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and facilitate optimal recovery.
• Monitoring patient progress, evaluating treatment effects, and adjusting plans as necessary based on evidence-based practices.
• Documenting all services provided to maintain accurate patient records and facilitate effective communication.
• Inspiring and motivating patients to adhere to their therapy plans, thereby enhancing their functional outcomes.
• Customizing fitness and wellness programs tailored to the specific needs and goals of each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary patient demographic comprises individuals with private medical insurance, presenting a diverse range of orthopedic conditions. You will manage cases involving post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, chronic pain management, and pre-surgical evaluations. Your ability to connect with patients and understand their unique circumstances will be paramount in achieving successful rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate must possess:

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York, with no disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong manual therapy skills complemented by proficiency in developing effective exercise regimens.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems like WebPT, implementing them effectively to track patient care.

Preferred Experience

Experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly valued. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a proven track record of providing superior patient care and possess a strong understanding of orthopedic rehabilitation methodologies. Additional certifications in manual therapy or sports rehabilitation are a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

Grandcare Physical Therapy Services offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to USD 110,000, commensurate with experience.
