Work Environment

This full-time position, operating Monday through Friday within a 40-hour work week, requires your presence onsite at our Rehabilitation Center in Rochester. Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at Serenity Orthopedic Care Solutions, your core responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough evaluations and developing personalized treatment plans based on physician referrals, including pre and post-operative rehabilitation.
• Implementing and adjusting treatment strategies for patients with orthopedic injuries, ensuring individualized care that promotes safe recovery and optimal function.
• Facilitating therapeutic exercises and interventions, demonstrating techniques to patients and their caregivers to enhance home-based rehabilitation.
• Engaging patients through presentations and educational sessions that empower individuals about injury prevention and recovery strategies.
• Documenting patient progress comprehensively in compliance with healthcare regulations and contributing to ongoing clinical research or quality improvement initiatives.
• Actively participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient outcomes and share insights that improve care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role as an Orthopedic Physical Therapist will allow you to work with a diverse range of patients, including individuals in need of orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatrics, neurologic rehabilitation, and sports medicine. You will assess each patient's unique needs and circumstances to develop customized care plans, helping them achieve their recovery goals effectively and holistically.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a valid state license to practice physical therapy.

• Certification in Basic Life Support from the American Heart Association to ensure patient safety during all interventions.
