Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and establish tailored treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, relieving discomfort, and preventing further disabilities.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation.
• Supervise and guide Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure the effective execution of treatment plans, providing feedback and support as necessary.
• Evaluate and reassess patient progress regularly, making adjustments to treatment plans in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
• Document patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in accordance with clinic protocols and regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises, home modifications, and strategies for managing their conditions to facilitate recovery and long-term wellness.
• Actively participate in interdisciplinary case discussions to ensure comprehensive care delivery, sharing relevant insights about patient progress and treatment strategies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of clinic practices through participation in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work with a diverse patient population comprising individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgical procedures, sports-related issues, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• At least 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Current state licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in New York.
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 90,000 and 100,000 per year.
