Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess residents' physical capabilities, including strength, range of motion, and functional limitations.
• Design and implement customized treatment plans that focus on improving residents' strength, mobility, and overall functional independence.
• Administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities, to address specific impairments.
• Track and document residents' progress through detailed reports, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize outcomes.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, communicating residents' needs and progress to enhance coordinated care.
• Educate residents and their families on effective home exercise programs and strategies to promote long-term health and wellness.
• Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as adhere to professional standards and ethical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with a diverse population of residents, many of whom are older adults facing challenges related to mobility and physical health. Your expertise will directly impact their recovery from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions, helping them regain their independence and improve their daily living activities.

Qualifications

• A valid and current Physical Therapist licensure in New York State.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required. A Master's Degree or Doctorate is preferred.
• A genuine commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents through empathetic and effective therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills vital for working within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually , based on experience and qualifications.
