High Precision Therapeutic Center is actively seeking a dedicated and accomplished Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our outpatient practice in Rochester, New York. Work Environment

Located in Rochester, NY, our center embodies a welcoming atmosphere conducive to healing. Our team consists of experienced professionals, including a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and two other talented physical therapists. We strive for collaborative success, ensuring every team member contributes to our shared mission of quality care. The role operates onsite, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients' individual needs, establishing clear goals tailored to their recovery journey.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour, ensuring personalized attention during each session.
• Design and implement comprehensive care plans utilizing a variety of treatment techniques, focusing on the specific needs of each patient.
• Employ manual therapy skills to promote healing and reduce discomfort.
• Develop effective exercise programs that enhance movement and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments, continuously monitoring patient progress and adjusting interventions as necessary.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of all patient care services and treatment plans in compliance with industry standards.
• Encourage patients by motivating them throughout their treatment and rehabilitation phases.
• Promote wellness and healthy lifestyle choices, enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, comprehensive care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population at High Precision Therapeutic Center primarily consists of individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on providing high-quality rehabilitation services that are grounded in evidence-based practices. Each physical therapist plays a vital role in assessing, treating, and motivating patients, ensuring they regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• Required: Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Active Physical Therapist license in New York State with no disciplinary actions on record.
• Demonstrable proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
• Experience working in outpatient orthopedic settings is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, essential for working effectively with patients and team members.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Physical Therapist, specifically within orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Experience conducting assessments and creating targeted treatment plans.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and willingness to stay updated with current practices.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
