Work Environment

This full-time role is based in an onsite outpatient clinic that emphasizes a home care approach, allowing for personalized interactions with patients that can lead to more effective rehabilitation. Our typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, enabling work-life balance while delivering essential therapeutic services. You will interact closely with patients across various backgrounds, employing innovative therapy modalities in a healing and friendly environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized therapy sessions tailored to each patient's specific needs and rehabilitation goals.
• Maintaining a manageable caseload that allows for adequate time and attention to each client, ensuring quality patient care.
• Employing proven orthopedic techniques and treatment plans based on evidence-based practices to improve mobility.
• Creating comprehensive care plans that incorporate various modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Assessing progress through regular evaluations and adjusting treatment strategies accordingly.
• Motivating patients through encouragement and support to foster adherence to therapy regimes.
• Educating patients about their conditions and advocating for non-surgical interventions where appropriate.
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to align on treatment strategies and enhance outcomes.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of patient interactions and treatment protocols using EMR tools.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recuperating from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, and other musculoskeletal conditions. Our patient population includes active individuals from a variety of backgrounds—ranging from athletes to older adults—with a shared goal of improving their mobility and quality of life in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) with a comprehensive understanding of physical therapy practices.
• An active state Physical Therapist license and a clean record free from any disciplinary actions.
• Strong knowledge of manual therapy techniques and the ability to develop tailored exercise programs.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems such as Web PT for documentation and patient management.

Compensation and Benefits
