The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Head of Growth to own student acquisition and growth end to end.

You’ll bring the right students onto the platform and connect them with partners who can deliver meaningful value. You’ll own the growth strategy and its execution, working closely with the founders, who lead partner relationships and commercial deals.

This is an opportunity to shape the growth function from the ground up at a mission-driven, high-growth education technology startup.

How Success Is Measured

• North star: Revenue-relevant students acquired per dollar spent.
• Grow the US student base quarter over quarter while increasing the share of college-qualified students.
• Reduce cost per qualified student and increase marketplace conversions.
• Maintain quality at scale, with activation and unsubscribe rates serving as key guardrails.

️ What You’ll Own

• Paid acquisition: TikTok, Meta, and emerging channels.
• Creators & affiliates: Build creator partnerships, affiliate programs, ambassador initiatives, and UGC.
• Organic growth: Lead SEO and AEO (Answer Engine Optimization).
• Product-led growth: Develop referral loops and growth experiments.
• Lifecycle marketing: Drive engagement and conversion through email and SMS across a base of 300K+ students.
• ✨ Brand & social: Shape brand positioning, social strategy, and content direction.

You’ll also collaborate with Product on activation and support community and nonprofit partnerships, as well as B2B partner marketing materials.

Who We’re Looking For

• A hands-on builder: You’re ready to run channels yourself for the first 6–9 months, not simply manage a team.
• A doer, not just a strategist: You can write the brief, script the video, launch the campaign, and optimize performance yourself.
• Fluent in Gen Z: You understand how students discover, engage with, and trust brands — and have built creator, ambassador, or community programs.
• Data-driven: You know your acquisition costs by channel and can build the tracking infrastructure when it doesn’t exist.
• Proven startup experience: You’ve driven measurable growth and can point to results you personally delivered.
