Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Men's Talk Mental Health Services, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to understand and address the unique needs of each client, ensuring they receive personalized treatment plans.

• Maintain effective communication with supervisors, interdisciplinary team members, families, and other stakeholders to monitor and discuss clients' progress and challenges.

• Develop and submit a tentative scheduling framework for counseling sessions, home visits, and clinical observations to foster continual oversight of client advancement.

• Coordinate essential home visits and in-home observations, focusing on thorough chart reviews and data analysis to ensure holistic care.
\n
• Ensure the successful execution of personalized care plans and participate in team meetings to enhance collaborative care.
\n
• Document and provide detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes to track client development.
\n
• Organize and lead staff training sessions to ensure team competency in the program plan and adherence to documentation standards.

• Offer ongoing follow-up interviews and home visits as needed to provide continuous support for client needs and to adapt plans based on evolving circumstances.

• Act as a liaison with local mental health entities and community resources, enhancing service delivery and development goals.

• Contribute to resource creation for training materials aimed at improving counseling protocols and programs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role allows you to work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth facing varying challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and relationship issues. You will have the opportunity to provide specialized support, emphasizing family therapy, couples counseling, and trauma-informed care strategies that are informed by the latest research and practices in mental health.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
